January 28, 2012 - A VALENTINE'S DAY SPECIAL
Thank you guys for being a HUGE support of us in 2011. We are going to be kicking off 2012 with our Valentine's Day Special!
Tickets are FREE and will be available on January 1, 2012. This show is a bit smaller than the Holiday Special but we would love to see you all there. Please email tickets_weekendswithwhitney.com to get your ticket(s) and we will get them to you promptly.
The show will be held at Lincoln Hall (2424 N Lincoln Ave) and will be taping from 1-3pm that day. We would like to ask that you guys get there around noon so we can get you in and seated.

WEEKENDSwithWHITNEY offers one of the best internship programs in Chicago.
Our program offers students:
• experience on a diversified global talk-show
• exposure to network level news research, editorial and operational coverage, and broadcast and digital production on a daily basis
Eligibility:
This internship program is open to undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in school and have completed their sophomore year. Graduate students are also eligible for consideration. Interns MUST meet the following criteria:
• Currently earning a college/university degree in Related Field
• Available a minimum of 10 hours per week
• Excellent Communication Skills
• An interest in broadcast news with prior internship or classroom experience in journalism or broadcast production
Length:
We offer three programs a year: Fall, Spring and Summer.
Qualifications:
Hiring decisions are based on your major field of study, past work/internship experience, and extracurricular activities. We are looking for students who will make the most of this great opportunity.
Whitney Reynolds news background and passion for people have been combined to create a weekly talk show unlike any other. She wanted to create a show that not only informs people, but impacts lives across Chicago-land and nationwide. WEEKENDSwithWHITNEY is that show, one committed to having fun, inspiring millions and making a difference.
After only a year airing as an online talk show, W3! was picked up by NBC Chicago to play on a weekly rotation Saturday and Sundays on their NBC Chicago Nonstop channel. WEEKENDSwithWHITNEY is one of only two contributed shows (shows not produced by NBC) selected to air on the new channel. Originally from the Dallas, TX metroplex, Whitney has worked as the Morning Anchor for the NBC affiliate as well as lived in New York City in the early 2000's while interning at the morning show giant, Good Morning America.
Whitney graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Communications. She currently lives in Chicago with her dog, Puffy.
